PETER POCKLINGTON
Peter Pocklington is the founder of Pocklington Building Systems Ltd. He is currently enjoying his retirement in Lund, BC where enjoys spending his time on the patio sailing trips and fishing. Peter was one of the founding members of the BCCSA’s Sheet Metal Roofing division, back when it was still called Metal Cladding.
BERIC POCKLINGTON
Beric first worked with PBS in 1993-94 and has been full time with the company since 2005. He worked his way up from shop apprentice, to shop manager, to production manager and has taken on the role of managing partner so that his brother can finally traverse the high seas on a regular basis and enjoy retirement life to the fullest. For recreation, Beric enjoys skiing, surfing, mountain & road biking, tennis and travelling to the four corners of the world as much as possible.
CARTER SMITH
Carter is a Managing Partner at Pocklington Building Systems, where he leads all things metal and flat roofing. From single-family homes to large-scale developments, Carter keeps projects on track while managing teams with a steady, approachable style. Outside of construction, he’s equally at home on the slopes—an experienced snowboard judge who’s brought his eye for precision to the world stage at the 2020 Olympics. Carter’s diverse background highlights his ability to bring structure, fairness, and attention to detail to every project he takes on
EMMY HEINE
Emmy has been with PBS since 1996. She is the brains behind the company and to make sure everyone gets their invoices and paychecks on time.
Emmy lives in Squamish with her family and enjoys playing tennis before the crowds roll in, loves cooking traditional Filipino cuisine and exploring her neighbourhood.
ARTURO FRANCISCO
Arturo has been with PBS as Shop Manager since 2008. He is Emmy’s younger brother and is our resident metal artisan. He is currently training his son Ron, to take on the mantle. In his spare time, Arturo enjoys BBQ and relaxing on his deck.
JOEL LOVERIN
Joel has been with PBS for 10 years as Lead Foreman. Joel is also a sponsored professional snowboarder and avid mountain biker. Joel has featured on various promotional media for Whistler and Canada.
HARRY MARTIN
Harry is the latest addition to the PBS Foreman roster. He’s worked for over 12 years in Europe on major masterpieces, including work on Buckingham Palace and Lancaster house in England, St Andre Cathedral in France.
FREYJA POCKLINGTON
Freyja the “Black Cyclops” enjoys walks, runs, chasing tennis balls and running behind Beric on the ski slopes. At work, she acts as Shop Supervisor and makes sure the radio is always tuned to Heavy Metal!
